the comedy of life
Just in time for Thanksgiving, Aunt JoAnn found a new way to cook pumpkin bread. Only one problem, no one could figure out how to get it out of the Mason Jar! If you have a solution to this problem, please let me know!
People are always telling me that I have a very comical family!
Aunt Robbie even asked the "Brookshire Butchers" for help, but to no avail!!
No, your eyes do not deceive you, this bread was cooked (and stuck) in that Mason Jar.

Dear Aunt JoAnn,
ReplyDeleteI would try sticking the jar in the freezer and see if the bread shrinks. Then try to pull it out.
Or just don't cook bread in a jar in the first place.

Stephen,
ReplyDeleteGood idea, but I think she had put it in the freezer, but that did not work.
We finally used a long knife and cut the bread into four sections, and then used a prong to pull each section out of the jar. It wasn't pretty, but it tasted good!!

Sorry but I just could not pass on this one!! You know we love you!!
