Baggett & Franks Family Reunion 2017

Every three years we travel to Arkansas for the Baggett & Franks family reunion.

This year 14 of us "Franklins"  made the trek to Sheridan AR to visit Cindy's family.

And I think "a good time was had by all"!

a beautiful lake in the top of the mountains

A favorite part of our family memories were the many trips to Lake Ouachita
when our three boys were young.  Camping out on the lake and swimming in the lake
were fun times.  So it was great to take 8 of our grands to swim in Lake Ouachita this week.
This time we went to the Lake Ouachita State Park and spent part of the day to swim and picnic.

We took the tour and boy was it hot today in AR! 

The ride was breezy so it was not as bad as expected

and the grands loved it when we drove into the water 

on Lake Hamilton!

Our mission Tuesday was to find the hot springs 

in Hot Springs AR

Cindy and I took the five older grands on the mission

Water coming out of the rock into a pool at 146 degrees! 

and ice cream to cool us down afterwards!
