We took an excursion recently off of I-85 in Commerce GA area and ended up in HOMER GA  -  It is a small town with NO red light , but it has several churches, a fire dept, and happens to be the county seat of Banks County.

Thanks to all who donated and special thanks to the initiative and work of my son Stephen (who was named after my brother) - the grave marker was finally installed last week at Thompson Chapel Cemetery in Spartanburg county.  Stephen Anthony Franklin was the third child of mom and dad, but he only lived a few hours after his premature birth.   We had the obit from the newspaper etched on the back.
