Our guest speaker at church yesterday was from Clearwater Christian College. Dr. Hodges mentioned "the dash" in his message about our life and how we will be remembered after we are dead. In a cemetery, the tombstone or headstone will read with your name and give date you were born and the date you died with a dash (-)between the dates. The most important thing that matters to God is what you do during those years between the dash (your life here on earth.)
