let the games begin!

March Madness is here! I am sure we are in for some more "maalox mashers" in the next few weeks. Some of you will be happy to know that Dick Vitale will not be announcing any games during the tournament. I like to hear Dickie V. get excited calling the games, but ESPN said, "No deal" to CBS. My team, the Dukies, play their first game at 9:30 Thursday night. Assuming they win, they will play again on Saturday. Check out the following on line...

The NCAA tournament bracket...at ESPN.com (you can fill out your own bracket)

At cbs.sportsline.com you can watch the games on line this year at no cost, yes, free! (You will need to register to sign in for this)

    Hi Tim,

    The Duke game last night was not very exciting. I guess that is why the station switched to a different game.

  2. The first game of the tournament always seems to be that way. When you have a no. 1 seed playing a no. 16, it can be a blow-out. I'm just glad CBS let us watch as much as they did, many times they only show the first half. Tomorrow should be a more exciting game at 1:10 pm but I think the dukies will win!
