Finally after hanging out at the no.5 spot for a few weeks, the Dukies are back where they belong, at the no. 1 spot in both the AP and Espn Coaches polls. Out of the top 5 teams, Duke was the lone survivor last week winning both games and Duke has been no. 1 for 11 weeks out of the season. Georgia Tech traveled to Durham to play Duke on Sunday night. They kept it a close game most of the first half, even leading Duke for a time. But at about the 5 minute mark, the Dukies went on a run and ended the half with a good lead. Final score: Duke 79, Georgia Tech 57
Next game for Duke is Weds night against a non-conference opponent, the Temple University Owls at 7 PM on ESPN.
