April showers bring forth May flowers

In Georgia, it is true that April showers bring forth May flowers... most of the perennials are back after a cold cold winter.
Above, the amaryllis were splendid this year and bloomed for about a month.  As they are winding down, the daylilies are shooting forth with long stalks and many buds.  They will bloom most of June (Picture above)

To the right, the tickweed is blooming in both flower beds,  and  the plant we brought home from AR is in the back

In the picture above the canna lilies are growing back just in time for summer and in the picture at right the one hostas seems to get bigger every year!

Picture at right: This geranium has been growing in this pot for several years. It is surprising to me, but we keep it in the garage in the cold months and it blooms all spring and summer , over and over , each year.
