Happy Late Birthdays for August 5th

While I was on vacation, three family birthdays took place on August 5th, but with very slow internet connections at the resort, I could not post anything.  Sorry I am late but I returned to work on Tuesday this week and it was like I hit the deck running.  So we wish a "late" Happy Birthday to Peyton McDonald, Brandy's girl;  Jessica (Jessie) Baggett, Sheryl's girl; and Jeff Brown, my 2nd cousin.  All three celebrated on August 5th.

Noah, the Musical

Tuesday night in Branson, we went to see Noah, the Musical at the Sight and Sound Theatre.  This is the final season for "Noah" and we highly recommend it.  It is also great to be able to support a Christian organization like Sight and Sound.  Their musicals really make the Bible come to life!

For our family vacation we arrived in Branson, MO to spend the week at the "Branson at the Meadows" Resort from Sunday July 31 to Sunday Aug 7.  Unfortunately, so did the heat wave.  It is 105 today and might be 112 Weds., so we are staying in the AC or in the swimming pool for now.  

Hopefully we will be able to enjoy some of the "tourist" attractions this week, but we may not do some of the outdoor attractions unless this heat wave is over soon.
