My name is B.C. Fleming. I grew up in a lower middle-class income family in a small factory town an hour outside of Detroit, MI. After joining the Army at the age of 18, I was severely injured by the savage attack of a suicide bomber who exploded 3-feet away from me in Kandahar, Afghanistan on July 24th, 2006.
