Saturday night , the Duke basketball team set another record - 900 wins in Cameron Indoor Stadium

Had a great time hiking at Sweetwater Creek State Park on New Year's Eve with our sons and their families from Wisconsin and Florida...so when one group took a path by the water that ended, Brandon and Stephen helped them cross over to our side safely without back tracking.

started off the new year with family in SC

not able to take a picture of all 23 of us!

Two of our sons and family joined us and drove over to SC to have lunch with my mom, sister, nephew and cousins on New Year's Day 2020

We had a blast and enjoyed our meals at Olive Garden.
After lunch we went to see Dad's grave at Calvary Cemetery and other family buried at Thompson Chapel Cemetery.
And on the way home we swung by Bob Jones University to see the Christmas lights on campus.

Home Alone this Christmas

We spent Christmas day "home alone" this year, watching "Home Alone 1 and 2" while decorating the tree and wrapping presents (and my wife cooking). The grandkids are arriving this weekend so we will have a 2nd Christmas this year.
