 Summer is ending soon, at least it seems to end now when school begins everywhere.  Most schools were in session in the Atlanta metro area by this past Monday, August 10th.  

So I am posting some photos to remember the summer fun...at least my grandchildren had a lot of fun times this summer.

first week after dad's heart surgery

 Brandon and Rachel and their kids came to visit with us for the week... they really helped cheer up my mom and dad. Mom is doing a little better this week, as the neurologist increased one of her medications for her neuralgia pain.  Dad has been walking more and more each day and even started walking up and down the stairs by Friday and Saturday.   


Asher and Charlie and Haley Grace enjoyed the spaghetti for supper! 

 Brandon encouraged dad to tackle the staircase on Friday. He did really good but woke up in the middle of the night with leg pains.  He walked half way up today!

Spending time with mom and dad at our house in Georgia, as we help them through some medical issues.  Mom had to go to the ER twice and hospital for three days this past week. She is out and doing much better. Dad is waiting to have the aortic valve replaced through a  TAVR (Trans Artery Valve Replacement) at Gwinnett Medical.  We enjoyed celebrating the 4th of July at our home , watching music and fireworks on the television.  They have enjoyed have family and friends drive down/up all the way to Georgia to visit them.
