Branson vacation highights 2025

If you get the chance , you should visit Branson to see these shows - one of our most enjoyable vacations ever!  The Petersens family bluegrass band performs on Tuesday and Thursday in the summer, and are going to Germany for the next few weeks, but will be back in Branson Sept 25th (Click to view schedule ) I would love to go see their Christmas show (November and December)

The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe (by the Logos Theatre)  is currently at the Museum of the Bible in DC, but will be back in Branson Oct 29th - Dec 13th (Click to view schedule)

David is currently showing at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Branson and scheduled to run through Jan 3 2026.  Be sure to get your tickets early, if you wait until you arrive these will most likely be sold out!

We also visited the Shepherd of the Hills and you can spend all day and night there if you desire.  They even have a zip line and mountain coasters, along with the park and museum , the Chuckwagon Dinner Show on Tuesday or Thursday , and the outdoor drama "The Shepherd of the Hills" (Note this show is at  8pm and lasts until 10:30 pm)

Of course, there are many other things to do in Branson, for another vacation week!

Summer vacation to Branson MO , post no. 4

Our vacation this summer was the week of July 19th in Branson, MO.  I have to say this must have been the hottest week of the year and  it seems no matter which week we choose for vacation in the summer, it is always the hottest week of the year.  On Tuesday afternoon and evening, we spent time at the Shepherd of the Hills - the grands enjoyed mini golf, hands on activities, the hiking trails and the view from the Tower.  Around 5 PM we went to the Chuckwagon Dinner Theatre Show  and enjoyed a great meal while listening to a cowboy singing group. The meal and concert lasted about an hour and a half.  shortly after the concert, we rode the tram down to the outdoor theatre to watch the live drama "The Shepherd of the Hills".  Except for the heat and humidity, we enjoyed the performance (it was  88 degrees at  8 PM when the drama began!)
