around the world in one year
I am one of those newspaper junkies...I take it to work to read at lunch, or to the doctor to read while waiting. Why do I keep taking the paper? I guess because sometimes our local newspaper will publish very interesting articles - such as this article about a local couple who just finished their trip around the world in one year. Now that they are home, things are getting back to normal I am sure. But these links might interest you and make you think about going on an adventure!
Many photos have been posted on their website, including this one of them paragliding in Peru!

We were surprised to find out this week our son and wife in WI are having twins in June!
Leah and Stephen posted this picture on facebook showing the two babies growing in the womb!
We are looking forward to no. 14 and no, 15 -
One boy and one girl!

photo of the week
Our Car in Cowpens SC |
My parents car in SC |
So here is my view on Saturday and Sunday morning...stranded in Cowpens thanks to over 5 inches of snow, plus about 1 inch of ice under the snow.
When I left today at 3PM it was still 32 degrees, very little snow melting, except on the main roads.
Then as I arrived in Georgia, the ice/snow started falling
from the passing semis on I-85.
That was interesting, dodging snow and ice
with no snow on the ground in GA!
