Thirty four years ago today God blessed us with you - our third and final son.  We should have been experts at parenting by then, but alas we were still calling you "Baby Brandon" when you went to K-4 or K-5!   Finally, we caught on and stopped calling you by that name!  

Joel Brandon Franklin - born Feb. 9th, 1981 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

It was a special time in the journey of life for us. We did not know how we would be able to take care of three kids, and we did not know whether you were a boy or girl until birth  - except that Mrs. Dot Haskew gave a baby gift, something blue, before you were born, because she could tell your mom would be having a boy!
