This is an 8+ minute promo video from Hal Leonard Music for "Appalachian Winter" a cantata by Joseph Martin. Our church choir and orchestra will be using most of this book and other songs when we present our Christmas program "Tell It On The Mountain" on Sunday night, Dec 14th, at 6 PM at Berean Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA. 

Christmas music for brass

I recently had the opportunity to play in a brass ensemble with friends from my church and another church in Alabama.  I needed to find some easy to  moderately easy brass arrangements of Christmas music that could be played with very little rehearsal time.  I did not want to use just simple hymn arrangements, and was pleased to find this book arranged by John Cacavas at J.W Pepper.com.    

"Christmas Brass Ensembles" is a collection of 19 seasonal favorites, mostly Christmas carols but some other fun songs include, and written in nice five part arrangements.  Each book is $4.95 and includes Trumpet 1 and Trumpet 2, Trombone 1 and Trombone 2, Tuba, Baritone TC(sames a Trombone 2 in treble clef), French Horn (also same a Trombone 2).
